James Hurley saves Donna Hayward and Maddy Ferguson from Harold Smith’s clutches. Agent Cooper takes Audrey Horne back to her father. Bobby Briggs and Shelly Johnson prepare a ‘Welcome Home’ party for Leo, but then learn that their plans for his insurance money have gone wrong. Donna tells Sheriff Truman the whereabouts of Laura Palmer’s secret diary. Regional Bureau Chief Gordon Cole arrives to warn Cooper of a threat. Deputy ‘Hawk’ Hill locates the One-Armed Man. Maddy Ferguson decides to leave Twin Peaks. Josie Packard makes a deal with Ben Horne, and then leaves for China with Jonathan. Ben calls Leland Palmer back to work. The One Armed Man reveals that he is a spirit called Mike, and gives Cooper some information about the mysterious Bob.
